Options Plus is a branch of Options Counselling and Information Service and is able to draw on nearly 50 years of counselling experience in the addictions field. It has adopted the same respectful, gentle, supportive and encouraging ethos of the original Options to carry into the field of general counselling.
Options Plus believes that providing a safe and comfortable environment can enable a client to explore issues and feelings safely and thus act as a springboard for fresh thinking and behaviours. All Options Plus counsellors are professionally trained and work to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Standard and Ethics.
Whilst having a history spanning nearly 50 years as a specialist in alcohol, drugs and gambling work, Options counsellors have experience of dealing with a wide variety of underlying issues and are now providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), general counselling and support for these issues including;

Options Plus will provide an initial assessment at a cost of £20, where a counsellor will discuss the counselling process with you and any fees payable.
The fee for each counselling session is usually £35 and a discount is available if six sessions are paid in advance.
